Phil Collins is Back!

Nope, sorry … once again not the London born musician. I’m talking about the Colorado barista.  ( Come on, you remember Phil, right? )

And he didn’t go anywhere, I’m just writing about him again 🙂
Since learning about this upcoming comedy web series months ago and having the extreme pleasure of watching the pilot, I’ve been keeping my eyes and ears open for updates. After a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign in December 2013,  completion kicked into high gear and I’m pleased to announce that the official trailer was released on June 16th 2014 after almost a year of filming. (Official Trailer for “The Art of Acting Out“)  The show is slated to premiere in Fall 2014.

The Art of Acting Out is a story about Phil Collins, the barista, and how he quits his job to become an actor in Denver, Colorado. With the help of his questionable manager Tony, we follow Phil on his journey as he takes every bad first gig you can imagine. Along the way he meets his Dream Girl Jennifer, her boyfriend (and future nemesis Jack Ace) and learns to grow and face some of his fears… like stage fright, creepy clowns and what happens if he can’t get a job to pay the rent.
